Our employees demonstrate their commitment to improving Sunrise Carpentry, Inc.’s safety performance by continuing to lead our industry. We have reported injury rates well below industry averages and our injury rates have been declining every year.

As an industry leader, Sunrise Carpentry, Inc. takes all necessary and responsible steps to comply with safety and health standards set forth in the Federal, State and local laws and regulations. We have established a written safety program to include injury & illness prevention. It was fostered at the highest levels of our company, practiced daily by employees and reinforced by the Risk and Safety Department.

Our employees take safety leadership seriously. All locations employ a Safety Committee comprised of employees that volunteer their time to help with safety prevention and training, as well as, on-going programs.

Sunrise Carpentry, Inc. trains all employees and supervisors in foreseeable workplace hazards and proper work practices to minimize the risk of injury and illness and recognizes employees who conduct their work safely.

All new employees are required to attend orientation training on health and safety issues. In addition, supervisor training is conducted to apprise managers of their responsibilities, as well as, safety and health hazards to which employees under their immediate supervision and control may be exposed. We also provide job specific training to train our employees about the hazards specific to a particular job function. This training is refreshed whenever new substances, processes, procedures, or equipment is introduced into the workplace that may represent a new hazard.
